As confirmed last month, Google will hold its first ever Office Hours session for Australian Android developers this Wednesday.

This week Google held a Developer Day in Sydney, where it discussed a number of emerging technologies coming out of the company.

Alon Tamir, designer of the Wallee series of iPad wall mounts and Pix and Stix has announced “StudioProper”, Australia’s first tech accessory design studio.

At the Google Technology User Group meeting at the Sydney Google Offices, Ankur Kotwal (newly appointed Developer Relations for Google Australia) gave a talk on some of the new features of the Ice Cream Sandwich release of Android (also called ICS internally). The focus of ICS is on the bringing Honeycomb (3.0) and Gingerbread (2.3) together into one OS for both tablets and smart phones.

Google is to introduce Android “Office Hours” for Australian developers.
