The collaboration between PRADA and LG will provide the best in style and substance for its customers, coming as the third phone from the collaboration between the two companies. This highly anticipated handset represents a key design venture as the companies unveil the latest smartphone to be released on the market.

The partnership between Prada and LG was established in a joint signing ceremony in late 2011 which marked the continuation of the alliance between the two successful companies. According to Brad Reed, the Senior Marketing Manager for LG, the venture will provides its customers with the “tradition of combining PRADA’s trademark design aesthetics and simplicity with LG’s leading technology, including one of the brightest displays on the market and a PRADA themed UI for a truly unique mobile experience.”

The pair say the selection of Vodafone will allow customers to experience faster speeds as the new handset will be launched on its new “850mHz mobile network” with Ross Parker, General Manager at Vodafone saying the “statement device is the perfect choice for the discerning eye, and we’re delighted to be confirming its availability exclusively at Vodafone.”

The handset is partnered with PRADA’s clean and sharp design philosophy and boasts a full touchscreen to the front of the phone and PRADA’s signature Saffiano pattern to the back, finished in a classic black. It contains LG’s signature Floating Mass Technology which optically enhances the thinness of its already sleek 8.5mm depth and reduced hardkeys adding to its design.

The PRADA phone has a 1.0 Ghz Dual-Core/Dual-Channel architecture for higher-speed performkance and a dual-band wi-fi for high-speed surfing wherever you go.

Once switched on. the phone allows the user to create their own interface featuring unique black, grey and white menu icons. The user will be able to enjoy the latest benefits of Android’s Gingerbread OS with a schedule to be upgraded to the latest in Android’s OS, Ice Cream Sandwich later in 2012.

Capturing those memories on camera will never be the same again as the new handset has a 8Mp camera and up to 8GB of memory which will mean that those all important life moments will never be missed.

To complement the handset, users will be able to have access to PRADA phone accessories including: a PRADA branded cradle and Blue-tooth head-set. The phone can be carried around in a range of stylish pouches which will add to the finish of the phone.

The new handset will cost $799 RRP. For more information on this new collaboration between the two companies visit the official website of PRADA Phone by LG 3.0 here.
