NLYZR is a new tool developed by an Aussie consultancy firm with the aim of helping both local and global businesses boost their all important search rankings.

The self-funded, in-house developed tool came about after digital agency Sticky found many of its clients were needing the same search optimisation tweaks made to their websites, and decided to investigate an automated way of doing the changes saving both time and resources.

“We couldn’t accept that Search Engine Optimization had to be so slow, difficult and expensive and decided to do something about it,” NLYZR founder Craig Wilson told iTech Report.

“We used our collective in-house experience to map out the system and then launch a Free Web NLYZR where businesses could test the overall optimization of their websites and receive a quick report highlighting strengths and weaknesses.”

This lead to the creation of NLYZR that has, since the launch of the new-look tool just months ago, already provided many members with “exceptional results” in terms of their search performance.

“There’s an Australian company who is competing with some massive companies in the USA and has managed to take first place in search and as a result grow substantial market share,” Wilson said, pointing out success is just as important for companies as it is for individuals.

“Just as rewarding for us is a home-based, one person business in Sydney who have gone from nowhere to first page of Google for several terms in a matter of days.”

NLYZR is hardly the first tool created to assist website owners in improving their search rankings – there’s an entire market dedicated to such products – but Wilson says what makes the tool so attractive is its powerful yet simple interface.

“What makes NLYZR unique is its simplicity,” he said.

“We have targeted NLYZR squarely at the small to medium business owner and marketing manager who is time poor, not always tech-savvy and just wants results as quickly as possible. We honestly believe it is the world’s easiest, fastest website optimization system.”

One of the key features which gets most users excited, according to Wilson, revolves around the ability to see how competitors are ranking in comparison to a user’s own results. This, he says, allows users to find out what they need to do to “beat” them.

NLYZR also provides an extensive knowledgebase of information surrounding the best ways to improve results and inbound marketing.

Wilson says the team – or nearly everyone at Sticky at some point in time – that has been involved with the project is aware of the potential for the tool in the US market, with Wilson himself “waking in the middle of the night” to answer emails and tweets from users overseas.

“We’re aiming for solid growth here in Australia with eyes on building a strong presence in the USA. We believe some strategic partnerships in each market could see NLYZR become a leading website optimization tool,” he said.

With search engines constantly tweaking algorithms to provide more relevant results for users, it’d be easy to think that NLYZR results would have to be constantly changing as well to keep up.

However Wilson says that NLYZR was built with these changes in mind, mentioning that “since we started creating NLYZR two years ago, search has seen a lot of changes and every one of them was actually good for NLYZR and confirmed our methodology and thinking was aligned with what the leading Search Engines are trying to deliver.”

NLYZR offers a free, limited service as well as paid memberships which work by providing credits that are used up each time an analysis is conducted. Prices start from $149 for a year-long membership.
