Microsoft’s Australian Tech.Ed event kicked off on the Gold Coast yesterday, with many of Australia’s leading technology professionals in town for the conference.

Based around the topic “The Future is NOW”, the annual conference is focused on many of Microsoft’s cloud-based technologies, including Azure and virtualisation tools.

High profile delegates for the keynote included Adam Spencer, “Beached Az” creater Jarod Green and Jane Cockburn from Cochlear, with HP, AvePoint and Telstra the major sponsors for the conference.
