Apple has this morning confirmed their newest retail store in Australia will open to the general public on the 23rd of July.
The store, located in the Westfield Penrith complex in New South Wales, will open the doors for the first time at 9am this Saturday, the 23rd of July to the general public.
It’ll have all the latest iconic Apple services, including the so-called Genius bar which provides technical assistance to owners of Apple products, workshops, youth programs, business support and one-to-one classes which teach those new to Apple products how to get the most out of their purchase.
“The Apple Store is the best place to learn about all the latest products from Apple,” Apple said in a statement this morning.
“Service is the hallmark of every Apple Store, with dedicated space for technical support, personal training and free workshops.”
The Penrith store will become Apple’s 11th store in Australia with the company now boasting retail outlets across Australia in states including Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and of course, New South Wales where more than half of their stores are found.
Apple is also rumoured to be working on a new Queensland store which will see the company restore a historic building to it’s former glory.
While the company refuses to confirm that they’re behind the plans submitted to council recently, the plans resemble an Apple store layout with the company already using a number of historic buildings across the world for their stores including their historic Regent Street store in London.
New store being built at Hornsby Westfield as well. 3 stores were told 2 move last month, 1 had only just moved in and 1 had just renovated, to make way for the new Apple Store on Level 2 just below JB Hi-Fi.
