Steam adds 4 free MMO

Steam has released 4 Free to Play (F2P) MMO to their line up.

I have been playing a couple of them, and the fact that these titles are part of Steam is a nice feature.

One of the issues with MMO’s is that of you don’t play regularly, the client gets out of date, mandating long downloads and patching.

With Steam running in the background, this should now be automated.

From the blog post:

Available immediately, the launch titles are Spiral Knights, Forsaken Worlds, Champions Online: Free for All, Global Agenda: Free Agent, and Alliance of Valliant Arms (AVA)

I am currently playing Global Agenda and Champions Online. Both have a freemium model with ingame currency and a selection of bonuses and perks for sale.

More to come.

To his shame, he still looks back with nostalgia on keyboards that go CRACK when pressed and pines for the green glow of old fashion CRT terminals.
